Hello world! So it's been a minute and I wanted to update you on some of things that have been going on in LaLeak's World. I was so glad to be asked to be apart of GIRLTALK #TAKEOVER an event Founded by Angela Simmons and Kerri Berson. This event supports the fe:ale members of the Boys & Girls Club. This all day event provided the young ladies from the Boys & Girls Club of Hudson County with informative and interactive lessons on health, fitness and fashion. The attendees also received fun mini beauty makeovers where they were able to get their hair, nails and make up done by industry professionals. It was such a pleasure working with these young ladies. They were so full of life, energy and just a ball of fun and I cant wait to take part in next years event.

Now that Winter has gone and Spring is finally here. It is time to break out all those fab shoes. From the most affordable to the insanely expensive. Here are some of my must have and wish list picks for the Spring/Summer.
We had an amazing show last night at the Babatunde Olatunji and the Drums of Passion 10th Anniversary Tribute Concert. For me this was a very special reunion. Growing up in this company from the age of 4, the Olatunji family is absolutely a second family to me. Tonight four generations of the companies members performed along with other fabulous groups who page homage to Babatunde Olatunji which made tonight such a magical and unforgettable night. All though I was so caught up in the moment and preparing for the show myself, I was still able to capture a few exclusive behind the scenes look on the magic that was being created backstage:
I Attended the Sista Friendz Luncheon this afternoon and this was my outfit of choice. I love Spring time in NYC and today was just one of those beautiful days.
Today I attended the Sista Friendz Power of Connections Luncheon. What an amazing event this was. The founder of this organization Toya Beasley did a wonderful job putting together this Luncheon. To be surrounded by empowering woman all wanting to achieve the same goal as myself which is to become successful entrepreneurs was a great feeling. This Luncheon was hosted by Shaila Scott of WBLS and the guest panelist consisted of Emmy Award winning Makeup Artist Karen Dupiche, President and CEO of EEW Magazine Dianna Hobbs and Celebrity Fashion Stylist Thomasina "Goo Goo" Atkins. Below are a few photos from the event.

Today I am on the go with my client Dash, who's book Half Past Sex Chapter 1 can be purchased at Barnes and Nobles, Amazon.com and audio book on I-tunes. He will be part of a CNN documentary soon to be released about spoken word artists. He was going for more of a casual look today so I decided to pair up a denim button up shirt with olive Khaki colored pants.
We had the opportunity to meet with world renowned Artistic director and photographer Hollis King. His work is absolutely amazing.
